Scott Baker(6-5) and Daniel Cabrera(7-12) treated the Nimrod fans to a fine
pitching duel at Stigman's Mound. The Nimrod Numnuts eventually emerged as
victors over the Tampico Stogies by the score of 4 to 0.
Nimrod took the lead for good in the bottom of the 2nd inning scoring one
runner. That early scoring was all that Baker needed. Nimrod won despite
being out-hit by Tampico 7 hits to 4.
Matt Capps recorded the save, his 10th.
